Collection: Barrier Game

Do you love using barrier games as a language teaching activity but don’t have a good barrier stand? That was the story of my career - looking around whatever “therapy room” I found myself - searching for something to place between me and the child…until now.

This barrier stand is 30 cm wide x 20.5 cm high – the perfect height to hide the player’s game items but not their faces which is critical for all that non-verbal communication. It has a removable base allowing it to be stored or carried flat – a bonus when you carry everything but the kitchen sink to work (right SLPs?).

It’s made of light weight balsa wood bringing in that Montessori look and feel. And one of the best things about this stand is that it’s made through Inclusion Bigger a non-profit agency that aims to provide employment opportunities for adults with disabilities – more details about this amazing partnership coming soon!
