How to use receptively (listening)
First you're the speaker. Pick up a card and read the sentence at the top. Then the child will arrange the objects to show their understanding. Reveal the card and together compare the image to the arrangement. If it matches, yay! if not, this is your teaching moment.

The child picks up a card and describes the image. The listener arranges the objects as they described. The picture card is revealed and compared to the arrangement. If it matches, yay! If not, help them say it better.
Great as a small group activity
Great as a small group activity
Perfect as a tabletop activity for 4–5 students. Place the objects on a tray so they can be easily passed to the “listener.” Read a card aloud and have the listener take the required items off the tray to make the arrangement. Provide any supports the child may need, and let them keep the picture card as a point. The items are then returned to the tray, and the process is repeated with the next child. This also makes a wonderful “buddy class” activity, where older students can take on the role of the “teacher.”

What ages are the kits designed for?
Our kits are designed to build strong oral communication skills for kids ages 3–7.
Each kit grows with your learners:
: Bears & Chairs: ages 3–5
: Touch & Talk: ages 4–6
: Super Sentences: ideal for ages 5–7
The above age ranges are for typically developing language learners. The kits are versatile and often used with older children who may be language delayed or with additional language learners.
Support early learners by adding visual cues, modelling, or simplified sentences—or expand language development all the way to reading and writing for students ready for a greater challenge.
Shipping timelines
Orders are typically packed and shipped within 1 business day. Unless we are away at a conference and in that case we will email you with an updated timeline. We primarily ship with Canada Post and Purolator - tracking numbers will be emailed out once the label is purchased
