These have been great. I am using with my elemtary aged students. So many variations in how to use and the kids love the manipulatives.

This kit is so fun and useful! I work with kids that are 13 and older that have really benefited from expanding their vocabulary in a very short time!!

Great resources

I used the Touch and Talk Kit with 1st - 5th grade ESL students. Many of the students had limited experience speaking English. I love the kit because materials are easy to prepare and instructions are easy for students to understand. I used it in small group settings and with individual students. In small group, the students quickly learned to organize the objects based on the information they heard as I read it from the card. They had multiple opportunities to handle/arrange the items and then repeat the sentence that describes what they did. Starting with a concrete model and then connecting the verbal language was powerful. They illustrated the items and wrote sentences to match their drawings. Students took turns writing or building sentences with word cards made from sentence strips. Then we would read those together. I saw many faces light up as students realized they 'can do' English. Students experienced success every day I used the kit. That proved to be a powerful confidence builder. We started small and built upon their success. Using the kit with individual students gave me a consistent way to monitor their progress and observe their level of receptive and expressive language. This experience prompted me to buy the Bears & Chairs Kit to use with K-1 students. I'm excited to use it help these students build a strong foundation. I really do appreciate the kits and the thought behind them. Thank you!

It’s great for building language and communication skills as well as bonding and connection with parents. Great product!! Looking forward to future products for older kids too..

I use the Bears and Chairs to help students with poor auditory memory and listening skills. You can work up to a four-step direction (spatial relationship, quantity, size, color) and even time/condition if the student is able. It is basic and would need real-life carryover activities for the student to really "get" the skills. But it is good!

These extension materials are great! It's so convenient to have them prepared and ready to use with no prep required.
My students are enjoying all 3 kits. They eagerly ask to work with "the toys again" as we're transitioning to our speech room.

My students LOVE these kits! I've not had them long so I've used Bears & Chairs and Super Sentences so far. It's exactly what I needed. Saves prep time and can be used to target so many skills. The students eagerly wait their turn to be the teacher. They stay engaged the whole session.

I love the kits. They can be used in so many ways to work on so many different goals and objectives. I have worked with students on following directions, syntax, memory skills, and sequencing. My caseload is K-5 and I can use it with all ages.
