85 picture cards are organized into 3 levels of increasing difficulty. It is the cards that will guide your practice and scaffold the language so that you can meet children where they’re at and grow from there!

Easy Acquisition of Early Basic Concepts:

Repetitive practice of position, colour, size, and quantity words will help children master early concepts that are essential for academic success.

Extension Activity to Target Time Words in Sequences:

Run through 5 different 3-part sequences as a meaningful way to practice time words first, then, last! Add in time words before and after through reflective questioning.

How to use receptively (listening)

First you're the speaker. Pick up a card and read the sentence at the top. Then the child will arrange the objects to show their understanding. Reveal the card and together compare the image to the arrangement. If it matches, yay! if not, this is your teaching moment.

How to use expressively (speaking)

The child picks up a card and describes the image. The listener arranges the objects as they described. The picture card is revealed and compared to the arrangement. If it matches, yay! If not, help them say it better.

Great as a small group activity

Perfect as a tabletop activity for 4–5 students. Place the objects on a tray so they can be easily passed to the “listener.” Read a card aloud and have the listener take the required items off the tray to make the arrangement. Provide any supports the child may need, and let them keep the picture card as a point. The items are then returned to the tray, and the process is repeated with the next child. This also makes a wonderful “buddy class” activity, where older students can take on the role of the “teacher.”

I have used this kit to work on planning and vocabulary. It has been great and was engaging for my clients. The wood stumps do create quite a mess and it would be nice if they were sealed with something. I can see many uses for these thoughtfully created kits.

Wonderfully engaging!

I am thrilled with the New Super sentences Kit. As an SLP working with Preschool through 5th grade, I can honestly say that this kit grabs and maintains the attention of all my students. My new favorite therapy tool!

I recently purchased the Super Sentences kit and used it with my students this past week. It is my new favorite therapy tool! I used it to target pronouns, verbs, and listening for details. I know I will think of even more ways to use it. The students loved it as much as I did. I love that this tool is hands on and engaging for the children. I have purchased so many speech therapy materials over the years, only to be disappointed. This kit, on the other hand, is worth every penny.

The Tool I've always wanted!

This is kit is just amazing! I have wanted to put something together myself for a long time but just couldn't get around to it. It helps me to work on Non-Verbal Working Memory in addition to building language skills. It is a tool that I feel every SLP should have in their toolbox.
